| Kanye West Crashes VMA Stage During Taylor Swift's Award Speech | |
| | This year, Kanye West picked the beginning of the Video Music Awards to deliver one of his famous rants. The rapper stormed the stage just after the first award, for Best Female Video, was presented to Taylor Swift. He cut the teen singer off, grabbing the mic and protesting in support of Beyoncé. "I'm sorry, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time," he proclaimed as B looked on from the crowd, stunned. During the 2007 VMAs in Las Vegas, West delivered another rant and lost his temper after he was displeased with his performance being set inside a hotel suite rather than on the show's main stage. 'Ye's rants are usually in support of his own work. He memorably took the stage at the American Music Awards in 2004, declaring he was robbed of the Best New Artist nod. His protest against Swift, however, was not well received. West stood briefly on the stage after his comments as the crowd was silent. Audience members then began to clap in support of Swift after West left the stage. According to reports from inside the house, once cameras cut away from the action, West flipped off the crowd and returned to his seat. During the next commercial break, Pink walked by the rapper and appeared to shake her head in disgust before security escorted her away. West remained steadfast amidst the commotion as he kissed his girlfriend Amber Rose. The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards are live now! | GC: Modern Warfare II | |
| | It's the first day of Gamescom and we're already dripping with sweat. That's not the German beer sweats though, we've just sat down with Infinity Ward to see Modern Warfare II. These are real excite-sweats. IW played through an entire mission in the game's Special Ops mode, a new mode that throws you into small, bite-sized missions where all hell breaks loose for a few minutes - enough time to make you sweat out without the hassle of story getting in the way. Our IW guide compared it to the Mile High Club mission at the end of Modern Warfare, which was a short mission unlocked at the end of the game that challenged you to storm through a terrorist-filled plane and rescue a hostage. | | zBlock has received what is probably its most important update yet, servers using zBlock 4.3 can auto-update. Servers running versions before 4.3 will have to manually download the files. Changelog wrote ... “Changelog: -Added crouch-bug fix (zb_crouchfix). -Added bunny-hop fix (zb_bunnyfix). -Added fix for super-boosting. -Fixed a silent-run exploit. -Fixed the defuse-kit on bomb bug. -Blocked a new server crash/lag command. -"ent_fire" blocked even when sv_cheats is enabled. -Kicks 'unconnected' exploiters. -"net_graph 2" is now an illegal value on zBlock servers. -"fps_max" values below 60 are now illegal on zBlock servers (not including 0=unlimited). -Cvar scanning intervals slightly reduced. -Added several auth-host aliases to the plugin. -Running tv_record now prints connected players Steam IDs to the TV/demo stream. -zb_allowcashcalling now defaults to enabled. -zb_doorfix can now only be enabled on tick 85-100 servers. -phys_timescale locked to 1.0 when zb_doorfix enabled. -phys_timescale removed from notify. -Multiple-load issues should be fixed. -zb_dosprotect is now disabled with zb_active 0, previously it was always active. -A few small code fixes (none were notable bugs).” -zBlock Team -zBlock Official Site: http://zblock.mgamez.eu | |
