Pirate Bay: Paul McCartney agrees with the verdict
Paul McCartney, the well-known member of The Beatles, talked about the condemnation of 'The Pirate Bay' founders. As reported some days ago, founders of 'The Pirate Bay' have been found guilty of violating copyright laws. A Swedish court decided to sentence them to one year in jail and a payment of 30 million SEK ($3.6 million, €2.7 million) in fines and damages.
McCartney thinks that the final verdict about this case is fair. Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, he said:
If you get on a bus you've got to pay. And I think it's fair, you should pay your ticket.
As a person who works in the music world, Paul McCartney thinks that people shouldn't support piracy and the artists should be rewarded for their work.
After being promoted by Michael Corleone to Don of New York, players expand to new cities, as they build up their families through extorting businesses, monopolizing illegal crime rings and defeating new families in an effort to become the most powerful mob family in America. To help players manage their empire, The Godfather II introduces “The Don’s View” – an innovative strategy meta-game that allows players to oversee the entire world as they grow the family business. Using the Don’s View, players will be able to build, defend and expand their crime rings, while keeping an eye on the movements and plans of the rival families. Players will also learn to master the business of organized crime by building a family of Made Men, hiring crew, handing out orders, and promoting their best men up the ranks.
Funcom's fantasy MMO Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures launches its free trial scheme today, and to celebrate we've got 20,000 exclusive free trial keys to give away.
There are 10,000 keys for European servers, and 10,000 for servers based in North America. Anyone is free to play on either group of servers, although you will have a better play experience if the server is closer to home.
Each key comes with a seven-day free trial of the game and three exclusive in-game items: the Totem of Origins (a teleport back to your home city from anywhere in the world after level 20); the Bag of Holding (all MMO players will know how important extra bag space is in the early levels); and the Enruned Kosalan Ring (a "very powerful" item that increases the damage you do).
Head over to the European giveaway page or the North American giveaway page to claim your free trial keys. You'll need to register with Eurogamer first - don't worry, it's free, and you can sign up now
